Located in the centre of Chania, Kydon Hotel is opposite of the main market hall and just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour. The hotel is very nice and clean! The staff is friendly, polite and helpful which made the whole stay even better. The room was comfortable and nice, ours also had a balcony where we could dry the clothes after beach and rest. Breakfast is also good and has some options, if you don't want to spend morning looking for a place to eat outside. Location was almost perfect, we could be at the city centre in maximum of 10 minutes walk. The hotel also has a parking with a small daily fee, it was very convenient since the island is big and we wanted to explore around with a car.

Porto Veneziano Hotel enjoys a privileged location on the waterfront of Chania's Old Venetian harbour. It offers panoramic views and accommodation in a minimal navy design. Great location in the quiet area of the Chania waterfront. The staff was so helpful. And the breakfast was great too. Nice to sit and watch the bay. Other areas might be in the center of the waterfront, but we appreciated the more quiet area here. Its location means (at least in early September) that it is cooler in the afternoon/early evening while the rest of the outdoor locations are in the direct sun.
